It is Tara’s absolute joy to come alongside women as a Christian life coach. People who know and work with Tara say her wisdom, considerate but direct encouragement, and openness about her own journey have created a safe and supportive environment for their personal growth. As Tara offers practical tools, asks powerful questions, and provides ongoing accountability and support, clients share that they discover greater clarity, overcome challenges, and move into new levels of experiencing the free and abundant life Jesus promised each of His followers in John 10:10. She specializes in mindset coaching, life purpose coaching, spiritual formation, and health coaching (particularly for those dealing with chronic illness or becoming healthy within a busy lifestyle).
In addition to providing one-on-one coaching, Tara offers online and local group coaching and stand-alone workshops. She will soon publish her second devotional+guided journal.
As a speaker at women’s ministry events, Tara offers direction and hope with humor and creativity, weaving together her love of Scripture, story, and worship to lead women into a life-changing encounter with Jesus. Her journey through loss, chronic illness, and infertility; overcoming depression and anxiety; and learning to thrive within the stresses of military and ministry life all while pursuing an intimate relationship with God inform her perspective as she shares vulnerably. Tara loves to invite women on a journey of self-discovery where they become more certain of their callings, and of how to live out those callings, as women, God-followers, wives, and mothers – in other words, in every season of life!
Tara’s passionate about life-long learning! She graduated from Kansas State University with an education degree, which she’s used in more ways than she ever thought possible while happily following her husband’s 20-year Air Force career. She holds a diploma in Christian Life Coaching and is currently pursuing additional certifications and training within this career field. She and her family are gratefully settling into Minot, ND, where Mo serves as Creative Arts Pastor at The Pursuit. When she’s not coaching, Tara fills her time nurturing two children (one the child of her womb, the other the child of her heart through adoption), riding motorcycles with her husband, reading, teaching music, and participating on her church’s worship team.
