Company History
It all started at the vegetable stand along North Dakota Highway 1804 near the Thunderbird Ranch in Ray, North Dakota. Mary and Monica discovered that the dips and soups they served, as a means to sample vegetables, were the big attraction. Upon their retirement, the company was purchased by Open Door Center in February of 2012 and was moved to Valley City. Thunderbird now provides jobs for people with disabilities in the Valley City community. The products remain the same delicious variety that you have come to know and love. They specialize in soups, dips, cheese balls, breads, salad dressings, scones, gluten free desserts, gluten free flapjacks, meat rubs and more with down-home style taste. An attractively packaged gift line is available year-round for those special gift-giving occasions and corporate gifts.
