Spruce Hill Ranch has raised registered Angus cattle and sold 2 year old Angus Bulls since 1978. The family ranched for many years in Bowman County and later moved the operation to Ludlow, SD, just 22 miles south. Like others, we have always been on the look out for better ways to get quality meat products to the consumers. In 2019, we had the opportunity to purchase the local processing facility in Bowman. In the Fall of 2022 we attained our State Retail license allowing us to process and sell locally raised beef & pork to our customers. In the Fall of 2023, we expanded that by meeting the requirements for our USDA Inspection license.
