Nordic Needle is a Fargo-born business that has been producing needlework publications and kits since 1975. We also carry needlework supplies, books, fabric, threads, and beads in a variety of heritage techniques. In addition to the actual brick and mortar store located in Fargo, we sell to retail customers and wholesale shops in over 100 countries.

Company History
Nordic Needle was established in 1975 by Sue Meier and Roz Watnemo out of their love of Hardanger embroidery. Supplies were not available and they located vendors in the US and Norway. As their reputation grew, so did their business. The bought land and built the current building in 1983. Nordic Needle was on the cutting edge of the internet experience and has since expanded its e-commerce business to become a significant needlework supplier to over 50,000 customers around the world
