My husband and I raised horses for many years in norther part of the state. When he passed away a couple of years ago I sold the horses. I was reaching retirement age and couldn't see my barn being empty so I bought a couple Nubian goats. That lead to getting more. I started to use the milk to make lotions and soaps. I have varies scents to choose from for these products. I started to given the items to family and friends, they encourage me to start to sell these items. So I started to go to the local craft sale to sell my items. But just selling the lotion and soaps didn't pay for the vendor fees so I expanded to selling jellies, jams and other pickled items. This boosted my sales. I use locally grown berries to make my jams and jellies. I raise a garden and use those items to make pickles and pickle relishes to sell on my table.
