Company History
It all started 5 years ago when Matt Estin, co-owner of Bark’n Biscuits, was living in San Angelo Texas. One day he decided to make some wheat- free doggie treats for his French Bulldog, Gunner. After Gunner taste tested the treats and gave them a paws up, Matt brought them to a farmer’s market, where he sold out in about an hour. With the encouragement from family and friends, he started selling the made from scratch line of biscuits called “Summerland Dog Treats” throughout the state of Texas.
Matt spent the last couple of years making and selling dog treats full-time. Gunner told him that his fur friends in Fargo, North Dakota wanted to be able to buy healthy dog treats too, plus Gunner said it was “too hot” in Texas to live anyway. Matt became partners with Stacy Aamodt and opened Bark'n Biscuits store front.
