The Creative Nest was founded in 2012 by myself, owner and operator Tennele Kruse. 

I have always been an artist as a child and teen, but was brought back in my adult years after painting a memorial rock for a pet loss. The first item I had painted in over 10+ years. That led to painting on some scrap wood left over from our 2011 flood home rebuild, and turned into The Creative Nest. 

Currently the Creative Nest has 60k followers on Facebook. I no longer accept custom orders unless specifically announced, but I also sell at The Foundry in Minot, and do 10+ Vendor shows in the Minot and surrounding area each year.
