NoDak Freeze-Dried was founded by Jason and Heather Schallenberger in 2025 after discovering a love for freeze-dried snacks and the way they transform everyday treats into something new and exciting. What began as a fun way to make snacks for ourselves and share with friends and family quickly grew into a small business idea worth pursuing.

Based in West Fargo, ND, we started NoDak Freeze-Dried to share the treats we loved with others while supporting local business and celebrating North Dakota-made products. As a family-run operation, we remain hands-on in every part of the process — from experimenting with new flavors to packaging each order. Our product line continues to grow as we explore new ideas, seasonal flavors, and customer favorites, all while staying true to our roots as a small North Dakota business.
