Koselig Kitchen was founded in 2023 by Hope Anderson, a former Family and Consumer Sciences educator and self-proclaimed foodie with a deep love for teaching, tradition, and time spent in the kitchen. With a background rooted in education and human development, Hope has always believed that food is more than nourishment, it’s a way people connect, care for one another, and create lasting memories.

The inspiration for Koselig Kitchen grew from memories of cooking alongside her grandma, where recipes were simple, flavors were familiar, and the kitchen was a place of warmth and welcome. Those early experiences shaped a desire to bring comforting, approachable food back into everyday life without complication or pretense.

In 2025, Mindy Weisse joined Koselig Kitchen, bringing with her a background in customer support and customer experience. Known for her creative mind and attention to detail, Mindy plays an integral role in shaping how the brand connects with its customers, ensuring every touchpoint reflects care, thoughtfulness, and authenticity.

Together, Hope and Mindy continue to grow Koselig Kitchen as a North Dakota–based brand rooted in tradition, craftsmanship, and the belief that food should feel like home.
