Hilltop Farm is a multi-generational local foods operation south of Des Lacs, North Dakota.  Operating in local foods since 2016, Wyatt and Ann and three sons are celebrating 10 years of providing fresh produce, eggs, baked goods, canned goods and flowers into the Minot area community.  We also offer farm to school activities and ag tourism opportunities such as painting classes overlooking our flower gardens.  New for 2026 are our kids licensed lemonade booth - "Hilltop Farm Lemonade & Barnyard Bites" and "Bark and Bandana" dog/cat bandanas.
We offer produce sales both direct to consumer and wholesale to schools, restaurants, and grocery/retail stores such as The Meat Company.  We mainly focus on farm-fresh potatoes, onions, cucumbers and beets.
Our flower bouquets will be available at Prairie Sky Breads this summer, Minot Farmers Market and through a 4-week CSA delivery.
Our free-range (when weather allows) chickens lay a wide variety of colored eggs throughout the year and we deliver to Minot.
Specialty decorated sugar cookies are a favorite from our cottage food bakery as well as drop cookies, bars, pies and more.
Sauerkraut made from home-grown cabbage is our top-selling canned good.

Company History

Our farm has been in the family since 1914, historically growing commercial crops.  In 1947, Ann's grandmother named the land Hilltop Farm and inspired a love of gardening in her kids and grandkids alike.  In 2016, we began growing and baking for Minot Farmers Market, where we still sell to this day.  We have expanded through the years into our own CSA program and as part of the Minot Multi-Farm CSA.  Chickens and egg production was added in 2024 and in 2025 we became a licensed produce grower through the First District Health Unit.  This allowed us to begin selling into schools, restaurants and grocery stores in our area.
