In January 2000 Ginger Anderson, legally blind with an incurable eye disease, had a dream of creating a high quality, economical candle. She started in her tiny apartment and soon her dad, Monty, built a shop in their basement. In 2001 she had her 4th child and taught her mom, Dottie, how to make candles to help with the demand. In 2004 Ginger’s family moved out of state, so her parents took over the business. Because of the high quality standards she and her mother set, the demand for their soy products continued to grow. Today their customers extend across the nation and into Canada. Over the last 20 years Dottie suffered from severe COPD, with only 25% of her lung capacity. She had 5 bouts of lung cancer over the last 11yrs and lost her battle on April 16^th 2021. Ginger's journey has come full circle now, with her eye disease in the advanced stages, she is back at the helm following her dream.
