I create unique wood products using domestic and exotic woods from around the world through a process known as segmented wood turning. This involves cutting larger boards of wood into smaller pieces called segments. These segments are then glued into rings or larger blocks of wood to create the shape, color and pattern that one is looking for. Lastly, this rough piece is mounted on to a wood lathe and turned into its final shape.
