Foxfire Engraving

Foxfire Engraving is a small, woman-owned laser art business specializing in wood-based products and acrylic items.  Our product line includes:

  • Showstoppers - larger scale wall art designed to be eye catching centerpieces
  • Seasonal creations - Christmas ornaments often made with multiple layers to add additional charm
  • Decorative accents - much of our work is nature based, including layered art pieces depicting animals and landscapes.  Our decor pieces are smaller in scale, generally considered shelf sitters.  We also make suncatchers that brighten spaces, especially during these cold winter months.
  • Wearable art - We make and design earrings that blend craftsmanship with everyday style

In addition to our art pieces, we also offer custom engraving of tumblers, drinkware, and gifts.  While this product line has not been our main focus, it is an area of growth we are actively pursuing.  We have several companies that often reorder from us and have the capacity to scale production.

History:

Foxfire Engraving was created in 2023 when we moved back to my hometown of Bottineau.  My business was formed as not only a creative outlet, but also a way to connect with my father.  He was a woodworker and though our styles differed, my father's craft and my art share the same foundation:  a love for wood and the joy of creating something timeless.  My father passed away unexpectedly in 2024, but I continue to create with his influence in mind.  He even had an extensive wood collection that I've inherited and much of that treasured collection is incorporated into my art.

From the very beginning, I jumped in with both feet.  Foxfire's first show ever was The Big One in Minot.  It was a wonderful opportunity and provided invaluable experience.  Since then, I've participated in small and large shows in the Minot, Bottineau, and Lake Metigoshe areas, and until December 2025, I maintained a successful booth in a makers market store in Bottineau .  After relocating to Wyndmere in July 2025, I have focused on attending smaller shows and local events, introducing the company and art to our new community.  We are also actively seeking to place our products in local retail stores.
