Published seasonally, it highlights the people and places that make North Dakota’s food culture unique—connecting readers to the land, the ingredients, and the communities that feed us. Free at select locations statewide and available by subscription, Edible ND is dedicated to supporting local businesses and strengthening North Dakota’s food system through authentic storytelling.

History: Edible North Dakota was launched in 2025 as part of the Edible Communities network. Locally owned and produced, the magazine was created to showcase North Dakota’s rich agricultural heritage and the thriving small-business food culture across the state. With its inaugural Holiday 2025 issue, Edible ND began a new tradition of celebrating the farmers, ranchers, makers, and culinary leaders who shape our state’s table—highlighting the people, places, and flavors that define North Dakota, one season and one story at a time.
