My name is Ashley Gilstad I am originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Love brought me to the state of North Dakota, residing in our humble town of Minot. The American culture has inspired me in many different and creative ways while still being true to my Canadian roots. My subject matter is largely influenced by nature, combined with modern lines. I use a mixed media approach blending watercolor, acrylic, and embossing powder, to create a stylistic and unique design that captures movement and life in a refined fashion. My style likes to wonder with the twists and turns of life, embarking new designs with every experience.
