The Pride of Dakota Harvest Showcase returns to the Raymond Family Community Center in Williston, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17-18.
“The Harvest Showcase is a great opportunity to do some early holiday shopping and to see some of the wonderful products made right here in North Dakota,” said Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring. “Over 50 Pride of Dakota member companies will be offering gourmet food, wine, art, books, jewelry, apparel and much, much more.”
Showcase hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CDT), Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday. Carnival games will also be available for children on Saturday from 1 - 4 p.m.
The Raymond Family Community Center is located at 1002 11th St W. Admission is $2 per person with children under 12 free. People who bring their own re-usable, cloth shopping bag will get $1 off their admission fee. People who bring a fresh produce donation will also get $1 off their admission. Produce donations will be given to the Williston Salvation Army.
The Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcases are scheduled for Nov. 7-8 in Grand Forks; Nov. 14-15 in Minot; Nov. 20-22 in Fargo, and Dec. 4-6 in Bismarck.
More than 500 North Dakota companies are Pride of Dakota members. Administered by North Dakota Department of Agriculture Marketing and Information Division, the Pride of Dakota program provides member companies with cooperative marketing and promotional events, such as Pride of Dakota Day, the Holiday Showcases and in-store demonstrations. Pride of Dakota also provides educational opportunities for retailers and representation at regional, national and international marketing expositions.
