Pride of Dakota is pleased to offer grants up to $500 to registered retail stores that carry Pride of
Dakota products to be used in promotion of those products. Grants may be awarded for
less than the full amount requested, based upon the discretion of the Business Development Division
and the funds available. The maximum amount a retail store may qualify for is $500 per
fiscal year (July 1- June 30).
Grant money can be used towards advertising Pride of Dakota products, in-store
promotions or in-store demonstrations of Pride of Dakota products. The goal of this
program is to increase awareness and sales of Pride of Dakota products.
Grant recipients will be asked to sign a contract upon grant approval and will receive half
of the grant award upfront and the remainder after the promotion has taken place.
Recipients will need to send in proof of the promotion and a detailed invoice to receive
the remainder of the grant award. Proof should include: copies of advertisements, pictures
of the event, flyers, or posters – all of each must mention Pride of Dakota.
