Programs
Pride of Dakota is a program filled with opportunities and benefits for companies that produce, process or manufacture a final product in North Dakota.
Education plays a strong role in the Pride of Dakota program. During the year, we sponsor seminars and classes on a wide range of marketing topics, such as advertising, packaging, trademarks and logos, patents and labeling, as well as Internet marketing.
Pride of Dakota has been part of the North Dakota State Fair in Minot since the early 1990's. Located under a large tent in the southwest corner of the fairgrounds, the event attracts thousands of fairgoers. In addition to the displays by the Pride of Dakota members, the event features a Dakota Chef cooking competition as well as a special lunch for a dollar.
Another program is the Pride of Dakota Wholesale Gift Show. Held in the spring in Bismarck, this show is only open to retail and wholesale establishments, providing member companies with new outlets for their products.
Probably the best known activity is the Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcases. The first Holiday Showcase was held in Fargo in 1995. Since then, showcases in Bismarck, Grand Forks and Minot have been added. These four events collectively attract more than 20,000 customers annually.
These are just some of the activities that Pride of Dakota offers their member companies. We are work closely with our members to ensure that we have the right activities and promotions to fit their needs.
